Restore while prunning and vice-versa

Hi folks,

First of all, I want to congratulate everyone who is involved with restic. It’s an amazing software and community.

Tried to find my questions in the forum, but didn’t find anything so specific.

How safe is run a restic restore --no-lock while pruning?
How safe is the opposite? Run a restic prune while restoring with --no-lock?

It’s not safe. Don’t do it. Just adapt your workflow to avoid situations like this.

The exclusive lock exists for a reason and this is when the internal structure and actual data changes.
