Init new repo, never prompted for password

I’m running version 0.15.1 on Linux.

Please see attached video for an explanation of the strangeness. Any help would be appreciated.

Note: TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN when starting the video, then adjust accordingly after it starts. I think the gain on my microphone was incorrectly set, so the sound starts quite loud and noisy but settles down a bit later.

Are there any restic specific environment variables?

$ env | grep RESTIC_

You found it. I’m not sure why, but I had a variable set. I opened a new session and then got prompted. Much appreciated!
