Httm with restic mounts

httm is interactive, file-level Time Machine-like tool for ZFS/btrfs/nilfs2 (and even actual Time Machine backups!).

It would be nice to get some httm goodness for working with restic snapshots as well.

I have opened a feature request for the support of httm on restic mounts. As I am certainly not the right spokesperson for restic, perhaps someone more qualified could join the discussion on httm on mounted restic repository?

Looks like you are already supplying the information the httm developers need in order to answer your suggestion/request :slight_smile: Let’s see what they can do with it!

httm has now the restic support: Restic/Alt Store Support

This opens up many really nice and sophisticated slicing and dicing possibilities for the restic snapshots.
