No, because there is no need for that. As @martinleben wrote, restic doesn’t store the data unencrypted.

You have a point in that it is not entirely clear in the documentation, that can indeed be improved. It’s rather clear on restic.net (the main website), but not in the docs without a bunch of reading… Thanks for raising that!
We sure want beginners to use restic too, so they can have good solid backups of their data I’m not sure it’s useful to print out the fact that the data is encrypted, for various reasons. But making it utterly clear in other places where people read to decide they want to make use of restic and where they get started with it should be done.
