How can I not descend into bind mounts?

I searched the documentation for the word bind. The only result was the note stating that restic will descend into bind mounts. I would like to disable this.

Is there a way to disable descending into bind mounts? If not, can I make a feature request?

I’m not sure if it does, but does the --one-file-system option to backup help?

Thank you. It is not in the man page. I will try it and see. It does not give an error when using it, but I need to see if it will skip my remote server mounted to a folder in my home directory (for remote backups).

The --one-file-system option is in both the man page and help for backup, as well as in the documentation for it. If you have any ideas how to make it clearer, feel free to suggest!

I did man restic, so that is why I didn’t see it.
I was searching for the word bind in the documentation. I assumed since you used the term to signify they would be followed that any command to negate that would use the term bind mount as well. I know other tools that use similar one file system options. I should have searched for that.

Thank you for your help.
