Would be great is something similar would be available for Windows. kopia is able to do that (I guess using WebDAV).
Windows has Windows Subsystem for Linux. There are people that have gotten Restic to work with it, and if not, I think Lima has experimental support for WSL2. You can do some more research with how to modify the Lima templates I put on the repo, and look at Lima’s documentation here: VM types | Lima
