restic version is restic 0.17.3 compiled with go1.23.3 on darwin/amd64
Hi there, I’ve recently created a new restic repo in the cloud (using rclone with Jottacloud as the remote; sadly I only discovered posts on this forum about Jottacloud reliability issues after signing up!), and backup’d and then subsequently check --read-data’d around 3TB of data.
During the backup and the check --read-data I received a few connection errors, all of which were retried successfully during the operation (on one retry).
At the conclusion of check --read-data I’m informed that The repository is damaged and must be repaired / Fatal: repository contains errors, but from reading the output, it seems the only errors were operations that were retried successfully? Would I be correct to interpret the output as the backup and all data files being fine (as there are no Pack ID does not match type messages), although the connection issues clearly highlight the backend and/or my connection isn’t ideal? (After this I ran a standard check (without reading data packs) with no errors reported).
