I’m looking for CentOS 9 Stream restic package in copart/restic. Any plans or eta yet? Further any discussions to get restic into CentOS 9 Stream or EPEL?
What for? Download the binary, place it in /usr/local/bin (for example) and use
restic self-update
to keep it up to date.
Most system operators prefer to have a single command for updating the system rather than having hundreds of commands to run, each with their own way to self update.
The restic project doesn’t manage the packaged versions in various operating systems/distributions at all, so this is simply a question that you have to ask those who manage the CentOS 9 Stream packages.
