Windows: Recommended allocation size for exFat?

I realized, while accessing the drive from Linux, I do so from WSL2 via drvfs (9P). That works totally fine with NTFS. No need for exFAT then.

With that in mind, I just switched the drive to NTFS, and I got an unexpected performance boost. Compared to exFAT, backup speed almost doubled. I am talking about backing up a 176GiB Windows directory using restic.exe.

Thanks for the suggestion!
