So I deleted all of the snapshots that relate to that part of the backup (it was two relatively small folders).
I’m now re-backing those folders. Some of them are reporting in the log as:
new /data/home/tristan/myfile.ppt, saved in 0.294s (0 B added)
Does this mean it’s been de-duped because the data file is already there?
Yes, at least restic thinks the data is already in the repo.
