I’m away from the home/office at the moment and only brought a single USB 3 cable for two external HDDs. My backup script backs up both $HOME and one external HDD to the other external HDD. I had thought the missing backup target would cause restic to error out, but to my joy I see that restic just skips the unavailable target and works just fine. Nice.
So this is just a quick thanks to the maintainers and contributors for all your great work. I’m really happy to have switch from time machine’s silly spacefield to restic.
