I’m looking to replace CloudBerry because it is completely unreliable for Linux server backups… and Restic seems like the best alternative for our needs.
It hasn’t hit a 1.0 release. Is it considered production ready?
Thanks,
Brian

I would say it is. I use it and trust it for a bunch of clients, including those that for some reason trust me with their data
Yeah, it probably is. We wrote Relica on top of restic because we figure it’s stable enough for most use cases!
We’ve been using it for a month in production and it manages TBs of backups (logically – the repo itself is <1TB due to deduplication). We’ve not had a restore fail yet.
