I recently learned how to work with PPA (launchpad) and decided to make a repository to keep my machines with the latest version of restic and a script I made to manage restic repositories. I only use LTS / stable versions so 0.9.4 is not in the official repositories; that’s why I decided that, since I just want to distribute the latest versions of restic between my machines, then I would have to make a repository to do that easily without having to enable maybe other non-so-stable sources in my machines. Since the repository is public, everyone who wants to add / use it is welcome. I will be uploading upcoming new versions (binaries because, I think that the go version to build restic are not available in launchpad for bionic).
