Messages when using ctrl+c

I recently installed version 0.8.0-80-g9a8d5a1b, and I notice that when I use ctrl+c to stop the process, I’m now seeing a different message than what I’m used to seeing.

It gives me the message ‘signal interrupt received, cleaning up’, but then it also spits out a bunch of messages starting with ‘github.com/’ and eventually ‘panic: close: context canceled’.

Is this normal with this new version? From reading another post, I know that changes were made to how the program handles ctrl+c, but just wanted to make sure that these messages are normal.

This is indeed normal, and I agree the user interface can be improved (a lot). It is indeed caused by the change to better handle interruptions.

Thanks for the answer, and thanks for all your hard work on making Restic such a great program!
