Off topic: maybe you also want to save an image of your sd card from time to time. With tools like win32diskimager you can do a whole backup and restore of the card in minutes. Good practice for raspberry systems.
Yes, I did it in the beginning. But OpenPlotter is very often (and it is my case) on an external key. So the image is huge. Next stage : restic for all the folders, … except the backups !
We will see that in september, after the 3 month trip in Scotland. In september I will write down a paper about RPi4 and OpenPlotter/Open CPN. There will be a chapter about restic on RPi4. I will send it to the forum to have the forum assesment.
