Init a repo for an afp share

I mount on Linux via gio mount afp:// /home/user/backup
Now, how and where would I init a repo?

Presumably somewhere under /home/user/backup?

right, I guess I rather got some networking/mounting issues than restic ones

hmm, I’m having issues mounting an afp share in /etc/fstab, it works to connect on cli – any idea what I’m missing?
