How to prune with ever-increasing duration?

Hi,

Is it possible to implement the following prune algorithm somehow?

For the past week, keep daily snapshots.
For the past month, keep weekly snapshots.
For the past 12 months, keep monthly snapshots.

Yes, I don’t see why not. That’s more or less the policy I’m using for some clients.
