@rawtaz no rudeness felt from your message, you’re right. I was in desperate need of a linux server with automated backups for my self-employed contracting work. I have to come back to my amateur programmer mindset occasionally in order to maintain the rig, so I have to keep learning.

Thanks again all. I got my restic version successfully updated and also got it running from /usr/local/bin as opposed to the previous /usr/bin.
