Does it matter if there’s a version difference of the restic program between servers when using the same repository?
I guess restic creates an own hostname part within it right, does it conflict when the versions differ that talk to the repository?
As far as I understand, currently all versions are compatible.
Just better to avoid versions older than 0.8 because of metadata cache will not work (as far as I remember pre-0.8 versions were saving data and metadata to same pack files).
