B2 Multiple/One Bucket(s)/Repositories

Hi,
I am looking for your opinions on why I should be using one or multiple buckets/repositories.
I want to backup my personal photo/video files and they are categorized by year.

I was thinking of using 1 bucket for photo and one for video, and in each bucket have one repo for each year.

The reason for this that it would be easier to only re-issue a backup for that particular year instead of having restic scanning ALL the files

Does this reasoning make sense ?

Nah, just use one repo. You’ll benefit from deduplication more significantly and you can still choose what to restore by specifying a snapshot, subfolder, and/or tag name.
